ASD Refueling Bases V2.5 Here is the Story on this wonderful Add-on: In 2006, frustrated by Pilots who use a "Fuel Dump" Gauge to lighten their plane during Online Dogfighting, two CFS1 Pilots looked for a better way. Refueling areas have been around a while for FS98 and CFS1, but they either looked like a grey box, or a Neon coloured outline. This isn't good. furthermore, they appeared "cockeyed" many times since their alignment was North/South, and this doesn't usually correspond to the direction of the runway. A scenery designer was contacted and a new system for re-fueling was drawnup. Oriented "With" the runway, and placed dead center, these new bases, were a great leap forward. They fell short on 4 counts. First; the textures were pretty bad. Second; the scale was incorrect. Third; there was some Texture bleedthrough. Fourth; he refuel areas looked like candy striped boxes at altitude. This effectively puts a "Bullseye" on the target. Good for Bombers, but not very realistic.
The V2.5 Bases can still be seen from altitude, 30K feet, but aren't blatent targets! They also look more authentic with new and unique textures and markings for each of the four areas. The bases have the proper identification in each of the four languages: French; Dutch; German; & English. The Scale has been adjusted, and now there is room for two planes to refuel at once! Yet another ASD Exclusive. These are the most realistic, and with the new ASD textures, best looking refueling bases ever.

AIRCRAFT PACKS!
(The Allied Supply Depot has done the work for you)
Contrary to opinion, CFS1 has no limits on the amount of Aircraft you may import into your main Aircraft folder. Your only limit is of course, hard drive space. The real problem for adding many additional aircraft is that the names of these aircraft are all over the alphabetical spectrum, and this can make finding your favorite Aircraft at times near impossible! These "NEW" ASD Aircraft packs will add over 300 additional aircraft, and place them in a super-neat alphabetical order, organized by Manufacturer, or type. Now, finding your favorite plane is now just a matter of a quick scroll. Adding these packs is an easy way to add massive depth to your aircraft hanger, and will help you to "See" virtually every aircraft you might come across while flying on-line. PLEASE NOTE* Renaming these Aircraft, does not change the online visual model so, every plane you will see online WILL NOT appear as a Spitfire with the wheels down either! You will still be able to see everybody's aircraft, from the stock planes to the weird and obscure.
Each of these Aircraft has been selected for uniqueness. Some have excellent flight models, some have beautiful textures, and some are rare CFS1 Aircraft. Over one thousand CFS1 aircraft have been sifted through to provide you with the very best. You can go to other CFS1 Download websites, and get many of these planes. But the Allied Supply Depot has done all of the work for you, and these aircraft are available in handy download packs. Keep them all or only the ones you like or may need. The choice is yours.
